The apartment at The Works is simply amazing! It has everything I need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave is so convenient, and the two bedrooms provide plenty of space for me to relax. The flat-screen TV is perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. it feels cozy and homely, which is exactly what I look for as a solo traveler.
Personally, I found the oven to be a bit tricky to use. It's just my subjective opinion though, and I'm sure others might still find it useful.

Mind-blowing location, with all the super amenities you could ever dream of! Free wi-fi, free parking, jaw-dropping dryer, electric kettle for endless cups of tea, and cookware/kitchen utensils for cooking up a storm. The flat-screen TV was a total game-changer, and the lift made VIP check-in/-out a breeze. We loved the outdoor dining area for enjoying our welcome drink and snacking at the incredible snack bar. The cots were a lifesaver for our little ones, and the board games kept us entertained for hours. Plus, the luggage storage and no smoking on site were major bonuses. This place has it all!

The style and location were exactly as described, and we appreciated being within walking distance of some restaurants. The communal space and kitchen were a great alternative to staying in hotel rooms, and having two bathrooms was a bonus. The apartment was clean and well-equipped, even providing some basic food items. The staff were friendly and helpful in addressing any issues we had.
The layout of the apartment could be uncomfortable for some guests, as the walls between rooms are not full-sized. We also experienced some noise from the apartment upstairs, as well as a squeaky floorboard.

We got excellent value for our money at the Works apartment in central Manchester. The room was clean and well-designed with a unique floor plan. The location was convenient, within walking distance of restaurants and easy access to taxis. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help us, even finding instructions for using a vinyl player.
The breakfast option could be improved by offering a wider variety of choices.

Stayed at a place with a "balcony" - fancy! Also, had "free WiFi" - can't survive without it!
Who needs "free private parking" and a "terrace" when you can have squeaky floorboards and exposed bathrooms? So posh!
